Major interstate closed as dangerous winter storm pummels the Sierra Nevada

A storm expected to bring up to 10 feet of snow to parts of the Sierra Nevada has forced the closure of Yosemite, many Lake Tahoe ski resorts, a major interstate and disrupted power for thousands.
