A South African Court Has Ordered Ex-President Zuma To Jail For Contempt

Former South African President Jacob Zuma, shown here in 2019, has been found guilty of contempt of court.

This is the first time in South Africa's history that a former president has been sentenced to prison. Jacob Zuma defied a court order to appear before an inquiry probing allegations of corruption.
