Suspect Pleads Guilty In Plot To Kidnap Michigan Governor, Turns Government Witness

Ty Garbin, one of six defendants charged in an alleged plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, appears at the time of his arrest in October. Garbin pleaded guilty to a single count of kidnapping conspiracy.

Ty Garbin is one of six defendants charged with conspiring to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. In exchange for his conspiracy guilty plea, the government agreed not to bring further charges.
