Toilet Paper Startup Ramps Up And Rolls In Wake Of Coronavirus Pandemic

Local demand from individuals, senior centers, stores, and the state prison system is unspooling every roll as fast as the workers can wind them.

The sudden demand for "white gold" came at just the right time for a new toilet paper factory in Maine. "The demand is insane," says Tissue Plus owner, Marc Cooper.
